We have been invited to join with our Florida affiliate center Healing Spirits
Inc. to offer you a nurturing women’s retreat. Join us for a sumptuous wild
retreat at the beautiful Kashi Ashram. Come to nourish and balance your
body, mind, and spirit with yoga, kirtan, massage, chakra healing,
reflexology, wombing, and more. Lodging and three delicious vegetarian
meals a day are included.
Kashi Ashram is an interfaith community nestled on the banks of the St.
Sebastian River, just 15 minutes from the ocean on Florida’s Treasure
Coast. Kashi’s abundant setting includes wetlands and live oak hammocks
with walking paths throughout its 80 acres as well as a boardwalk to the river.

safe space for her voice to grow. Her Be Wild Woman program provides the
space and tools for women to empower themselves and each other. “Wild”

“wombing” process will help you create the foundation you need to heal and

Pascale Theard, founder of Healing Spirits, brings her gifts as a massage
therapist, yoga instructor and aromatherapy specialist. She created Healing
Spirits Inc to helps people reconnect their minds into a state of peace, heal
their bodies to live pain free and raise higher levels of consciousness for
peace upon our planet. Pascale will be offering the art of conscious
breathing & meditation, and daily yoga. Melissa Smith of Healing Spirits will
be leading evening Yoga & Kirtan progams.

Be Wild Garden Mosaic Project - stay tuned!
This summer at the Walt Shamel Community Garden, Be Wild Woman
reclaimed & cultivated the wildness of healing herbs. We are still looking
forward to our first garden beautification project, which we hope to begin
early next year.
Olga Olya, LMT and wild mosaic artist, is going to lend us her expertise and
guide us in creating mosaic posts to place at the four corners of the main Be
Wild garden plot. These will serve as anchors for a wire mesh fence to
surround and protect our plot. They will also be vital accent pieces for the
entire garden and community.
To get this wild creative project going, we’ll need:
 | 4 wooden posts, about 4 feet high | |
| an outdoor-rated adhesive thinset (best to get a good quality thinset | |
| to avoid cracking off bits later on down the road) | ||
| an outdoor-quality rated grout | |
| putty knives for mixing and applying | |
| rubber gloves and some sponges | |
| protective glasses, face mask when mixing dry materials | |
| pieces to use as mosaic: broken china, silverware, trinkets, bottles, | |
| mirror, whatever other ideas you may have |
This is a callout for anyone who can donate any of these materials or help us
purchase them. Donations can be brought to the Kakini Healing Center (155
W 72nd St. Suite 205) or to Walt Shamel Community Garden (1095 Dean St.
between Franklin & Bedford). Please contact Kiana to arrange a meeting
time.
And of course, we would love for you to join us in this fun creative project, so
